Big Sister Foundation is proud to have awarded Sus Big Sister Foundation is proud to have awarded Sustainability Grants of $2.3m over the next three years. 

In line with our mission to fund community organisations delivering vital support services to women and children, we are excited to collaborate with organisations across the Georges River, Bayside and Sutherland Shire regions to enhance their impact over the years ahead.

Each of the projects delivered by grant recipients will connect women and children to critical supports in our region.

Georges River Life Care is a recipient of a Sustainability Grant from Big Sister Foundation, and delivers critical services to the St George community, including services that support families impacted by Domestic and Family Violence. Kookaburra Kids and Big Sister Extend Research Par Kookaburra Kids and Big Sister Extend Research Partnership in 2024.

Big Sister Foundation continues support and funding for AKKF’s research, collecting near real-time, objective feedback about current programs and ensuring continuous improvement in reaching families and vulnerable young people at the right time. 

This program extends a 5 year research partnership encompassing both academic research into early mental health intervention and impact evaluation of the AKKF programs.
